Fashion Re/Action: Intro to Knit, Crochet, and Sweater Darning; 10/1

Fashion Re/Action continues on Saturday, October 1st, as designer and crafter Sara Parelhoff leads participants in the basics of knitting and crochet to create a yarn bomb project for the outside of JEM! It promises to be a SUPER fun collaborative project not to be missed. Also, bring your old holey sweaters and socks and artist Rachel Schragis will teach you to resurrect them while honoring their imperfections with simple darning methods. This is a great workshop for beginners as well as veteran knitters/crocheters.

The event is FREE and open to the public. Materials will be provided, but as always feel free to bring in projects you've begun or odd bits to incorporate into your creations. The demonstration starts promptly at 1pm (don't miss it) with open studio time afterwards.
